"Hiking" in Ojai

So three weekends ago we went out on a little "hiking" adventure with our good friends Matt and Ally (and Scout!). I say "hiking" because it really wasn't too far...and we wore flip flops. Does it count as hiking if you wear flip flops?

Anyways, our destination was a little watering hole where Scout (and the boys) went swimming. As you can see, they wasted no time.

Scout wasn't too excited to go in at first, but then he got used to it.

Then Matt and Kyle proceeded to climb up the ginormous rock that people were jumping off of into the water...for "fun"...to Ally's and my dismay.

We were yelling out their names but they said they couldn't hear us...uh huh. wink wink.

Finally they heard us...and gave us a little wave.

So our first attempt at "hiking" was a success.
